» ENGAGING WITH AGENTS FROM PLANETARY TO MOLECULAR.
A journey into microscopic worlds: Perceiving beyond visual capability and exploring other forms of analysis and representations.
We invite you on a journey into microscopic worlds, encouraging you to perceive beyond your visual capability and explore other forms of analysis and representations. We would like you to be inspired, open-minded, and alert in your observations of altered landscape phenomena.
The main idea of the workshop is to engage with the agents of disturbance that affects the Arctic region, connecting the behavior of microscopical evidence to the forces of disruption of planetary industrial networks. The themes of investigation are organized by scales and linked to the specific sites of analysis. Our hypothesis grows from these forms of techno soils, produced by extractive industries. In the core of the provided samples previously collected, bio-organisms remain and thrive, dealing with toxicities and surviving harsh conditions, worlds of survival and rejuvenation. We encourage you throughout this workshop to speculate through a critical and imaginative investigation that allows us to visualize and reimagine scenarios for the near ecological future.
